I myself have only 9 plugins. Too many plugin means too many conflicts, too many javascript libraries and too low loading. I made my custom codes to compensate that, even there is no sociable :p there. Added some custom classes and many other cool things. And Javascript is used only in two pages. Site is pretty much usable without javascript too. Though I havent checked my site on IE6 and IE7. But i have checked it on Firefox(its generally liberal but still stringent with important elements) and Opera(opera is strict at some rules). Use Firebug int Firefox and Dragonfly in Opera to do any web enhancements. Btw can you check if my site works well on sucky IE 6. Yes I have used PNGs and CSS 3 too. Though i don't care to make some huge amendments. Mine is just a personal blog. This theme rocks !
